Thanks to an application called PhoneView, I was able to copy from my iPhone the only voice message I have from Corey. PhoneView auto-loads all voice messages and voice memos and everything else where you can instantly copy to iTunes or wherever.
It was last Mother's Day when Corey called me and I was preparing to go to Palm Springs to interview a client, then to Hawaii after that. I didn't go to Calistoga on that trip because it ended in late May, and Corey and Ryan and Sean and his family were all going to come here to NC for my 60th and Corey's 30th birthday in July/August.
Now of course I would have given anything, the rest of my whole life, to be able to make that decision again, which would have put me in Calistoga the first week of June. If only the Time Machine had been invented….
